Natural Capital Approaches for Biodiversity Policies
December 2 - December 3
In collaboration with many partners, we have developed a new narrative publication featuring more than 60 best practices for how natural capital approaches can help to inform biodiversity policy and support mainstreaming of biodiversity to achieve the ambitions of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework. This narrative is developed in the context of the Government Dialogue on Natural Capital, supported by the Economic for Nature Programme that is funded by the MAVA Foundation.
These repeat webinars will introduce the publication, showcase inspiring examples of natural capital approaches by governments around the world, and launch the consultation on its draft.
The draft publication is available to read here.
Interested experts are invited to share reflections on the narrative and propose additional best practices that could be included.
