The state of wildlife and the environment is hitting the headlines like never before. We know that nature is in trouble, and now more people are listening and ready to act. We also know that it is not too late to turn this around, however we need to find new ways of working towards nature’s recovery and that includes the world of commerce.

Hear how climate change and biodiversity loss will impact on your business and join us to help shape corporate solutions to tackle these key environmental concerns.

BBOWT’s Conservation Strategy Director, Dr Prue Addison, will chair our discussion and we will be joined by a panel of experts from both academia and business.

Our speakers are:

  • Tom Bartleet, CEO Erskine Murray, a leading independent insurance brokerage, “The view from business on the potential impacts of the environment in the future”.
  • Verity Wilks, The Jordans Farm Partnership, a unique collaboration between Jordans and its farmers, the Wildlife Trusts, Linking Environment and Farming, and the Prince’s Countryside Fund. “Wildlife friendly farming in the UK”.
  • Marc Ventresca will join the panel; he is an economic sociologist in the Strategy, Innovation and Marketing Faculty at Saïd Business School and a Governing Body Fellow of Wolfson College.
