This text was taken from the Workshop: how to deliver on the TCFD recommendations (Amsterdam).
“PwC and the Climate Disclosure Standards Board will lead this half-day workshop to provide companies with practical insights they need to deliver on the TCFD requirements.
One of the biggest developments in the field of corporate climate reporting is the work of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), an initiative set up by the G20 Financial Stability Board.
With several European countries sending strong policy signals in support of the recommendations, as well as rising pressure from the investor community, companies need to be prepared to disclose information on the financial risks and opportunities of climate change and the low-carbon transition.
PwC and the Climate Disclosure Standards Board will lead this half-day workshop to provide companies with practical insights they need to deliver on the TCFD requirements.
The day will include an overview of practical steps to help companies deliver the right information in their financial reports, with a deep dive on some of the most challenging topics. The workshop will feature an interactive group exercise and discussion to help attendees navigate the challenges that derive from integrating climate and financial information.
